Elizabeth II
Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary; 21 April 1926 – September 8 2022) was Queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms.
Elizabeth became queen when her father, King George VI, died on 6 February 1952. At the time of her death, she (1) had ruled longer than any other king or queen in the history of the United Kingdom. She was the second-longest (2) reigning monarch in history.
In 1947, Elizabeth married Prince Philip, (3) Duke of Edinburgh, who died in 2021. Elizabeth and Philip had four (4) children, eight (5) grandchildren and twelve (6) great-grandchildren. She died on 8 September 2022 at the age of 96.
